We did it!

We have fantastic news to share. We have just signed the lease on a new HQ at 2 - 4 Vale Street!

There has been a lot of crossed fingers over the past few weeks, feeling hopeful and confident that we might find the support we needed to raise the rent money, but not wanting to jinx it by hoping too much!

We are delighted to confirm that we not only raised enough money to sign the lease, but thanks to Dannii Minogue and The Project viewers, we raised a staggering $89,866 -  nearly 18 months rent!

With more space for your generous donations, we will be able to accommodate more volunteers, increasing the number of families we can help and extending our service further across Victoria.

Our goal is to reach every maternity hospital, big and small, so that no family should have to consider what this mum contemplated when she discovered she was pregnant:

"On Australia day I went to the hospital for what I thought was a kidney infection only to discover I was 35 weeks pregnant. This came as a total shock, I had no idea up until that moment. For the first couple of weeks my partner and I had been considering giving the baby up for adoption - not because we wanted to, but because we have no savings and couldn't even begin to imagine how we would afford all of the things we would need for a new baby. That's when a social worker from the Royal Women's Hospital told us about you and what you do. Because of you I was able to decide that I would keep the baby, which I am already counting down for even though I've only had to wait five weeks! I am absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of you and all of the people who donate and volunteer with you. You have helped turn what was the saddest, most stressful time in my life into something unbelievably positive. My family and I have not stopped singing your praises to everyone we have spoken to, so from the bottom of my heart thank you for absolutely everything you do. I will be eternally grateful."

Thank you for being part of our community. With your help, we hope to treble the number of families we support.
