We would like to say a huge thank you to Gandel Philanthropy and Cooper Investors for their generous donations that allowed us to purchase new cots, mattresses, car seats and prams.
Last week we distributed goods to 166 families (367 children). We gave out 22 cots and bassinets, 229 clothing and linen bags, 38 car seats, 33 prams, 227 packs of nappies and wipes and over 100 toy and book packs - just 10 of the 66 different items we offer.
There were well over 1000 different items in total - all this from Clayton alone - with more sent out of Geelong and Ballarat.
But to do this again next week and the week after, we need more help. There are 258 babies left to help in St Kilda, 65 in Geelong and 41 in Ballarat. We need donations of money to buy new stock.
These new goods will last at least 10 years, serve many babies and children and provide the gift of safety, independence and dignity.
