Harry & Meghan shine a spotlight on St Kilda Mums!

Did you hear our royal news? The Duke & Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, have chosen to shine a spotlight on St Kilda Mums by being one of the charities that @sussexroyal follows in October. They asked their followers to suggest organisations they enjoy volunteering for and ones that they are proud to be a part of.

You got to work and posted, commented and shared your thoughts about St Kilda Mums with the world. Thank you to our beautiful community which has now grown bigger with many new followers and more awareness for our organisation worldwide.

Super Saturdays

Rachael and her son Matthew enjoy spending Saturdays tinkering with prams and learning new skills.

"Life Monday to Friday can be busy working or caring for children, and you might think the last thing you want to do is get up and volunteer your Saturday, but dang, it filled my bucket to learn something new and give back to the greater community."

Handmade with love

We receive some amazing hand sewn, knitted and crafty donations. Thanks to our supporters and volunteers for making such incredible gifts to give to families.  These are a selection of the beautiful items, often with lovely notes, that we have been able to rehome.

Every baby, every town

Last week, our Regional Coordinator, Danielle, packed up the van with all your wonderful donations and made some special deliveries to more remote towns in Victoria, as part of our Regional Project.

Starting in Horsham and ending in the Northern Grampians Shire, Danielle delivered essential items to regional social workers for the families they are supporting and kept a diary of her trip.

To hear all the wonderful stories from Danielle's journey visit our Facebook page.
