Important Update

Volunteering during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Update: 23 September 2021

As vaccination rates increase across Victoria, St Kilda Mums has decided to make some changes to our position on volunteering.

For the health, wellbeing and safety of us all, we will now ask that all warehouse volunteers are fully vaccinated from Monday 27 September. We will not be checking vaccination status, but simply operating on the basis of trust.  This applies to all 3 of our warehouses in Clayton, Geelong and Ballarat.  It only applies to warehouse volunteering - contactless click and collect home volunteering, where offered, is not affected.

Additionally, from Tuesday 28 September, a limited number of fully vaccinated volunteers can return to our warehouses during lockdown.

All the changes we are making are in line with Government restrictions and are being managed under strict COVID protocols including: limiting numbers, the wearing of masks, QR code check in, physical distancing and thorough cleaning between volunteer shifts.  The health, wellbeing and safety of staff, volunteers and the community remains our priority.

Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our organisation. We look forward to welcoming some of them back and continuing to provide much needed support to families right across Victoria.
